Christmas Lights is one of our favourite (and most sparkly!) fundraisers.

In 2015, over 60 homes across the country were decorated with fantastically festive lights displays, raising almost $40,000 to help make vital wishes come true.  The season for giving is upon us, and we’d love your support in 2016!

How does it work?

Each year thousands of households around Australia celebrate the festive season by decorating their homes with shining lights. This year, Make-A-Wish are inviting these households to show their support during the season for giving, and include a Make-A-Wish collection tin or wishing well as part of their Christmas display.

By encouraging visiting neighbours and families to make a small donation to Make-A-Wish, you’ll be spreading hope and joy not just during the silly season, but all year round.

Getting involved is easy:

By registering to use your lights display to fundraise for Make-A-Wish, you’ll be helping us tell more seriously ill kids before Christmas that their wish is going to come true. Immediately, their incredible journey of anticipation can begin, their resilience builds, and anything becomes possible. You’ll make the most incredible impact – like Chloe experienced.

Chloe, 7, living with cerebral palsy, wished to spend more time in the garden with her brother and sister.

“The ongoing happiness it’s brought her, and the joy that it’s brought to our family is incredible. I think all kids like Chloe should have a wish,” – Chloe’s mum.
